Wang Meng’s poetic theory was gradually established in the general displacement, profound changes as well as the pluralistic improvement of human thoughts. Enlightened by western humanism and the theory of subject, it grew out of critiques of aesthetic cultural theory on poetic subject theory and the examination of the intrinsic rules of poetics, and matured in continual question for literature works, forms and languages and the post-metaphysical context rebuilt by human. His poetic concepts and academic standpoints manifest his poetic personality, value of life, attitude towards life as well as his poetic theory, namely adopting the good and abandoning the useless, confirming and transcending the subject theory, establishing the logic thought and theoretical framework and aesthetic standard, all of which are significant dimensions in the new era and play a quite important role in human poetic culture.Wang Meng’s subjective theory of poetics is constructed based on the philosophic outlook of binary opposition and the illustration of the relations between many subjective literature and realistic life, and also deconstructed in the critique and judgment in human centralism caused by the inherent defects of philosophic subject theory and inner contradictions of poetic subjective theory. While Wang Meng’s poetic subject theory interpreted the forming mechanism, the operating forms, the process effects,and the value of literature and the meaning of such aspects as the overall forms of literature, emotions, legends, languages as well as aesthetics, thus literature genealogy was established as the research work. Wang Meng’s poetic theory started from ambiguous thinking of language, and the critical thinking of languages and the possibility of novels enable his possible space for poetic culture to be constructed. In terms of judgment and thinking of novels, Wang Meng’s existential dimension of poetic diction developed out of the humanity of language, the game and aesthetics of language, the possibility of language and novels, the affective criticism and his theory on The Story of Red Mansion, etc. The forming mechanism of Wang Meng’s poetics is formed from such expressions as form and content, rhetorical devices, style and sense of humor.The ethic connotations of Wang Meng’s poetics was based on the illustration of goodness, truth and beauty, which becomes the rarely significant epigram in the new era of China. What’s more, it enlightens us that poetic theory as well as literature can come back to its nature on condition that the poetry started from human’s great desires and ended up with the exact point of what the poetics aimed to express, and that spiritual fullness overpasses material richness, sense of collectivity surmounts individualism, ethic theory of poetics transcends the secular moral standards as well as return back to reality and respect for the aesthetic practice of human beings. Therefore, human beings acquired the universal connotations of ethic, abandoned the evilness, spread the goodness and showed the righteousness of human nature, which thereby realized the eternality and spirit of human life.
