Justice is an important research category in western ethics.From ancient Greece to modem times,scholars have explored the debate on justice to various theoretical systems of their own,which all reflect that justice is the eternal theme that human beings pursue for.Ancient Greek Plato said that justice is the beautiful state of each soul,is the good order of each function;Aristotle believed that justice is the perfection of morality and the embodiment of good virtue.Bentham,the representative of utilitarian justice,also points out that justice is the greatest happiness principle in the distribution of interests.He advocates the pursuit of hedonism.Rawls,a modem ethicist,elaborates the question of justice with his rich theoretical thoughts.It is on the basis of rawls's definition of the connotation of justice that the contemporary ethicist nussbaum puts forward his own view of justice,namely,poetic justice,which links the sensibility of literature with moral philosophy.Nussbaum put forward his own ideas on the basis of inheriting the previous thoughts.The ethical purport of her thought is mainly reflected in the humanistic tendency of poetic justice.Nussbaum's poetic justice attaches importance to the value of human beings and pays attention to the maintenance of human dignity.Poetic justice has the characteristic of capacity,and nussbaum believes that the internal capacity of people is the most basic moral tendency.Nussbaum advocates an empathic view of justice.Only by using literacy understanding and imagination can we better understand the relationship between fairness and justice.Nussbaum also pointed out the path to achieve poetic justice.She believed that individuals should read literary works,enrich imagination,combine rationality with emotion,and transcend the limitations of utilitarianism.The ethical thought of poetic justice takes a road of humanistic care and provides a new perspective for the cultivation of moral emotion in China.However,her thoughts also have some limitations.For example,her reliance on intuitive concepts leads to her failure to play a good role in practice.Nussbaum justice view emphasizes the fusion of rationality and sensibility,and the literature of the imaginative and the rationality of moral philosophy,the combination of the judge moral problem from the perspective of humanistic care,pay attention to the survival of the individual value,at the same time in the pursuit of the interests of the whole,she focused on the individual value and the dignity of the individual.
