On The Female Media Images Of The Chinese New Year Pictures In "Seventeen Years"

The Chinese new year pictures in the period of "Seventeen Years" means the pictures between the foundation of the People’s Republic of China (1949) and the beginning of the Cultural Revolution (1966). Due to the particularity of "seventeen years", the novels and movies in this period are hot topics in the academic area. In the same way, the Chinese pictures also change a lot during1949to1966. Despite a large number of studies have criticized the images of women lacking of identity and personal feelings, but the reflection of the female image provides important values, just as Guiyang’s "general three units".This paper chooses the Chinese new year Pictures as the carrier, and chooses the female images in those as the research object. Selecting the new pictures between1949-1966, the paper is focusing on the female images in that, in order to appear the female images in daily life. And then, the paper could make a research on the folk and classical construction and transmission of the female images, and know about the production mechanisms behind. After researching, this paper tries to summarize the female images in the "seventeen years", and captures the change track of female images in this period, so that to explore the affection of mainstream ideology on literary works, and the Publicity function of literary works in special years.This paper mainly is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is a preface discussing and resolving the research value, research methods and research in the initial encoding and so on. The second part is the concept of the new year pictures in "seventeen years", and it is the foundation of this study. The third part of is the deeply description of the female images in "seventeen years".According to the characteristics between1949-1966, this paper divides the "seventeen years" into three parts:1949-1956,1957-1959,1960-1965. And then, this paper analyses the typical images of women in different periods, including its features, changes and so on. It is also the key chapter of this paper. The fourth part is the summary and thinking in the female image of "seventeen years" pictures, discussing its meaning and value behind the representation mechanism. On the other hand, it could be provide reference significance for female media image of life writing today.
