Research On The Gender Consciousness Of The "Seventeen Years" Female Directors From The Cultural Transmission Perspective

During the "seventeen years" period,the first batch of female directors appeared in China.After a long period of aphasia,women began their self-writing.The purpose of this article is to make an in-depth and comprehensive analysis of the creation of female directors during the "seventeen years" period,and strive to understand the issues related to the female consciousness of the female directors of the "seventeen years" in the context of the times.Therefore,this article organizes and analyzes historical materials from several different angles,such as society,art,and culture,in order to outline the outline of female consciousness of "seventeen years" female directors.And on this basis,the relevant works of the "seventeen years" female directors are analyzed,their female consciousness presentation patterns and subsequent impacts are summarized,and the positive effects of the "seventeen years" female directors on women’s liberation are re-recognized.This article will be divided into four parts to discuss.The first part combs the theories related to gender criticism of film and television culture and the research of "seventeen years" female directors,and establishes the relevant theoretical basis for subsequent analysis and research.The second part,along the clues of time,narrates and summarizes the female consciousness generation path of "seventeen years" female directors.Focusing on the analysis of the impact of the May Fourth Movement,Leftwing and other ideas on the female directors during their "seventeen years" early growth period,combined with the social background and film production environment in the early days of New China,explain the general reasons for their female consciousness.The third part combines the film works of the female directors of "Seventeen Years",and analyzes and narrates the presentation mode of female consciousness in the film from three angles of story,image and audiovisual language.The fourth part,mainly on the basis of the previous analysis,combined with social reality and the subsequent film creation practice,summarizes the gains,losses,and influence of female consciousness in the creation of female directors.This article believes that the "seventeen years" female directors have a basic conscious female consciousness,and they have shown themselves in their works.With the representation of the real female picture,they have promoted the process of women’s liberation in reality.Their films,on the basis of the principles of realism creation,also show women’s unique gender experience,such as the establishment of female subjectivity in the film,and the elegant and lyrical audio-visual style full of female characteristics.The "seventeen years" female directors’ innovations and expressions in line with the times may give some inspiration to the current film directors to show real women and speak for women.
