A Study On The Concept Of Retribution From The Southern And Northern Dynasties To Sui And Tang Dynasties

The concept of poetic justice has been existed for a long time, even the science is highly developed now, Most people still intentionally or unintentionally regard poetic justice as the beliefs and criterion of their Behavior and Attitudes. There are two main traditional concepts of retribution in ancient china:Confucian concept of retribution and Taoism"chengfu".Buddhist concept of retribution increasingly popular in the South and North Dynasties Sui and Tang Dynasties, which brought with the east-spread of Buddhism, is impact and rich our traditional concept of retribution.At the same time, it aslo do some adjustments to adapt to our humanities, at last formed a new concept:Chinese Buddhist concept of retribution. The concept of retribution Widely spread in our society,are inextricably linked to the above concept of retributions.so it had some changes inevitably when buddhis had growing prosperity in the Sui and Tang.The literature named <Tai PingGuangGi> can be seen as Socio-historical’s book, because of that recorded a large number of retribution story in the era of Sui and Tang, This article regard it as the main references, Trying to show the concept of retribution and evolution trends in that era.This article consists as followed:Chapter Ⅰ:Introduction. Summarize the achievements and shortcomings of the academic study of the concept of retribution, pointe out that the main objective of this writing:Explore the main content of the concept of retribution and some changes form the South and North dynasties to the Sui and Tang dynasties.Chapter Ⅱ:Statistics. Statistics "Taiping" retribution stories and their cited literatures’titles, authors, and existing situations. To provide convenience for our analysis evolution trends in the next two chapters.Chapter Ⅲ:Based investigation of retribution ways. See retribution storys of "taiping" as the main object of analysing that pay more attention to explore ways of retribution and its evolution trends. The ways of retribution included main forces of retribution and time and space of retribution.Chapter Ⅳ:Based on the investigation of the contention and elimination of the "yeyin".
