ShuoWenJieZi is the first wordbook to analyze the character pattern, wordinterpretation and identify the ancient phonetics in China, which is written by Xushen inEastern Han Dynasty. It is preserved many Pre-qin and two Han dynasties exegesisachievemets in the book, reflecting the every aspect in the society of ancient times.Waking culture is closely bound up with people’s lives, it is mainly embodied in the zoubu, chuo bu, chi bu, yin bu, chan bu, xing bu,zu bu, shu bu, yao bu etc in the ShuoWen.This thesis chiefly chose thirty-five main annotate from the eleven radical, and subdividedthese radical into five semantics to the upper limb action, low limb action，upper-lowlimb action, walking and way meaning, on this account we observing different distributionof the main annotate, analyzing and summarizing its development characteristics byretrieving prior to Han Dynasties documental materials example. Additionally, we analyzeand summarize the annotated words in the same way，building three semantic fields aswalking meaning，low limb action meaning and way meaning via concluding and merging,so we build a semantic field system related to the walking and way meaning.There are five parts in the thesis. The first part is introduction, sketched out researchsubject and material selected basis, theoretical background and current research status,research material and research method, research purpose and research significance. Thesecond part is the example and summary of the main annotate of the radical of ShuoWenand related to walking and way meaning, and build the semanteme analysis table. It isdivided these radical to five semantics to the upper limb action, low limb action，upper-low limb action, walking and way meaning in this thesis. Before analyzing, we discuss three parts of the choice and divided of the main annotate，distribution situationof the main annotate and the internal relation of the radical by using of the Oracle, Jinwords. The third parts is the example,summary and semanteme analyzing of the annotatedwords annotated words，taking the upper limb action and upper-low limb action meaningof the annotated words together to walking meaning, and separated the other annotatedwords related to the walking meaning and way meaning, comparing the sameexplaining,and building the semanteme analysis table. The fourth part is walking and waymeaning of semantic fields systems built by main annotate, by means of summarizing,Organizing, analyzing the preamble, we obtained three semantic fields, such as walkingmeaning, low limb action meaning and way meaning semantic fields systems. At last, weconclude the whole semantic systems. The fifth part is closing, we summarize the thesis.
