The Mordern Research On Li Zehou’s Emotion Ontology

Li Zehou is a famous philosopher in China. His thoughts are related to variousfields within the humanities. Aesthetics acts as the main part of his thinking. Emotionontology is not only an important point of view but also a final destination point. Thefounding of emotion ontology is not only the inheritance of practical aesthetics, butalso the development and transition of the aesthetic thoughts. Therefore, when westudy the emotion ontology, we should put it into the development history and presentbackground in order to explore the formation of the specific process and thepossibilities of which can be implied.This paper attempts to explore the profound meaning of the Emotion Ontologyfrom the point of view of modernity. The argument about modernity is different, asPeking Chinese Professor Chen Xiaoming said "modernity debate is complex andmixed." This article is going to elaborate on modernity from humanistic ethics pointof view and the philosophy of Emotion ontology conceiving on the two dimensions ofspace and time. From humanities and ethical point of view, its specific aspects arereflected in the following two footholds: First of all, modernity is built on the basis ofsocial and economic modernization. Secondly, modernity bases on the present state ofmind. Only put the two basis points above, modernity can be established to focus onthe possibility of aesthetic modernity perspective. This is a necessary foundation forshaping the feasibility. From the philosophical point of view and the two aspects ofspace and time, considering the modernity of the emotion ontology is able toaccurately grasp the main idea of the practical aesthetics. The profound discussionabout emotion ontology can show the philosophical range of humane care and moderncontemplation.The exploration of the emotion ontology about modernity is not only atheoretical combing which is concerned with Practical Aesthetics in China, but also aguiding sense of aesthetics and the entire state of human existence in the backgroundwhere the entire academic concern for human survival. This is also the hope to be ableto reach a height.
