From Concentric Love can not Break up (1989) to The Fighting of one Person (1994), Glass Worm(2000).All Things Blossom (2003),Records of Women’s Chatting(2004),and Caused by one thousand nine hundred seventy-five(2007),entering of this new century, every work written by LinBai has demonstrated her thoughts about female writers’future. Changes in her works are not confined to the themes, languages or subjects. Instead, more attention should be paid to changes of her creative perspective and concept which were sensitively detected by critics. But in general, LinBai, as a conscious female writer, portrays life of women with her sharp and poetic language:women in growing pain, repression of patriarchy, struggle and resistance in hopelessness, and then walk out, finally into the history. As a female writer, she presents us a colorful world of women with exquisite words. In that world men cannot encroach on, LinBai portrayed different kinds of beauty of female characters. Meanwhile, with female characters walking from the closure of the "room" into the vast rural world and roaming to a new political and historical period, LinBai also changed into a bright new person filled with sunshine from a solitary narcissism who scared of the real world. She depicts different female images to show her passion for writing, and the possibility of female writing towards maturity and width.
