| Since Hegel’s art theory entering china, who is the German classical philosophy and esthetics epitomizing, academic circles on his research is more and more, more and more in-depth. In recent years, The domestic academic circles research Hegel mainly from the aesthetics system, the definition of beauty, natural beauty, the end of art theory and so on, and some results have been achieved. The author found that the discussion on Hegel’s functions of art theory this proposition is not very comprehensive, systematic and in-depth.Therefore, the author will focus on the study of Hegel’s functions of art view in the "aesthetic". Through careful reading about the text and data compilation, the author thinks that Hegel’s functions of art mainly has three points, that is cognitive functions, the functions of aesthetic appreciation and entertainment, the functions of moral and educational benefits. Cognition functions includes the cognition of people and the universe, cognition of religious truth, cognition of the laws of history, the cognition of the times and the national spirit. The aesthetic and recreational functions mainly refer to the cultivation of aesthetic tastes and appreciation, and the pleasure from art, both is dialectical and unified. Moral enlightenment functions not only includes the purification of human nature, but also including the raise of human moral education. One of the most fundamental function is to cognize, several other functions are service for cognition, at the same time, cognition also depend on behind the two functions to complete its task.the author thinks that Hegel’s theory of art functions is a kind of "circle" theory, starting from the most basic cognitive function, after several other functions, eventually relapsed into their own. Finally, I turned Hegel’s view of art functions with three of Lessing, Schiller, and Goethe aesthetics perspectives for comparative study, further deepening understanding of Hegel’s theory of art functions. |
