Roman Polanski, world-class film master, who contribute mass film works which with strongly personal style since the first time shot short film, this kind of style is categorized as "gray film","guilty film" or something else by researcher of China. It is a kind of style which represent the style of dark depression and theme of sin without exception although there are many differences definition of his style.These researcher using method of criticism\document analysis\narratology to fully and deeply analyse the film made by Polanski to prove that their categorize of Polanski’s film are correct.This paper mainly reference the theory of psychoanalysis and complement with document analysis, to discuss element of psychoanalysis appear on Polanski’s film base upon Polanski’s narrative theme and image style of his film, and trying to know that what kind of effect could achieve by this kind of "power of spirit".As early as middle of1970s, the attention of film analysis and criticism shifted to "effect of main body" made by film from language and structure of film, thus, psychoanalysis become main theory of researching "effect of main body ".It is inevitable to review Polanski’s spirit and memory for analysing spirit of film made by Polanski.Thus, this paper summary how Polanski’s style and characteristic formed who influenced by psychoanalysis and reveal a unique and deeply understanding of Polanski’s film from a definitely new aspect base upon Freud’s theory of unconsciousness and instinct and complement with Polanski’s personal experience and characteristics.
