In the era of visual communication, as an important visual communication, Illustration hasbeen widely used in many fields of books, newspapers and magazines, print ads, televisionmedia, network platform. The cutting-edge illustration expresses fashion, personalized,innovative, creative form, and reflects the creator of the cutting-edge outlook on life and values.So the younger generation has a deep resonance with it, which has been favored by a largenumber of audience in recent years. This phenomenon has attracted the attention of domesticenterprises, compared with foreign brands, domestic brands in brand promotion is not deepenough. Therefore Domestic brands need to absorb new blood for increasing brand promotionefforts. Because of the popularity of cutting-edge illustration, which has become an importantway to promote domestic brands. In recent years, some domestic brands have cooperated withcutting-edge illustrators in order to enhance domestic brands promotion, which has brought anew look to the domestic market.Based on the analysis of the cutting-edge illustration, This study aims to know howcutting-edge illustration serve domestic brand promotion effectively. In order to achieve thispurpose, this article uses the research methods of theoretical analysis and design practice. Thisarticle main focus on the third, fourth, fifth, sixth chapters. The second chapter deals with thecutting-edge illustration composition, including the composition of its elements, technicalsupport, and performance style for below dissertation. The third chapter analyzes the opportunityof the application of cutting-edge illustration in domestic brand. Then the fourth chapterspecifically analysis the applicable advantage of cutting-edge illustration on domestic brandpromotion. Through the theoretical analysis of the fourth chapter, the fifth chapter discusses howcutting-edge illustration serve domestic brand promotion effectively from case analysisperspective. To further demonstrate the applicability of the cutting-edge illustration on brandpromotion, The sixth chapter discusses the issue from the author’s own practical design perspective. At last of the paper, The author makes an consideration on cutting-edge illustration’sapplication in domestic brand promotion in order to enrich the integrity and the feasibility of thefollow-up study. The significance of study first lies in summarize on the cutting-edge illustrationthrough the analysis of it, including its interpretation, composition elements, performance style,technical support, etc., and enrich integrated knowledge of illustration. Secondly the author hopethat this study can provide theoretical support for local designers and domestic brand enterpriseswho can better understand the value of cutting-edge illustration in domestic brand promotion.
