Internet public opinion is a new relative area of research, as the popularity ofthe Internet, in recent years, it became the hot issues in domestic academicresearch gradually.In this paper, put the Internet public opinion and democraticpolitics together to analyze.several aspects have been involved. Mainly introducesthe basic overview of Internet public opinion and democraticpolitics,understanding by Internet public opinion carried democratic factors.Focuson analysis of both positive and negative effects of Internet public opinion ondemocratic politics.Finally proposed the path to avoid the bad Internet publicopinion. Facing a variety of internet public opinion information,how to deal withthe Internet public opinion and finding the coping strategies will be this paper’sattempt.This thesis is composed of five parts:The first part is the introduction. It introduces the background andsignificance of this research,international and domestic references about theInternet public opinion , the framework and main research methods.The second part introduces the basic overview of Internet public opinion anddemocractic politics.Mainly introduces the definition of Internet publicopinion,the features of Internet public opinion.Definition of democratic politics.Atthe same time, pointing out that China’s current development of democraticpolitics should follow some basic principles:under the leadership of thecommunist party in China. the people’s congress system and political consultationsystem;The principle of democratic centralism ; the people’s democraticdictatorship.The third part by exploring the advantages of Internet public opinion itself, recognized the nature democratic factors of public opinion.Provide politicalresources and political participation for people ;protect the liberty and security ofpublic participation;narrow the political communication between the people andgovernment; as well as the growth of "self-organization" forces outside the systemof supervision.In the environment of public opinion, analyze several forms ofdemocratic politics in practice:Internet public forums, Political blogs,Microbloggings; Network poll; Internet political mobilization; E-government.The fourth part is influence on the democratic politics by Internet publicopinion, discussed the positive and negative influence on democratic politics byInternet public opinion.the positive influence on democratic politics in the fourbasic rights of people as follows:the Right to know -- deviate from the networkpublic opinion correction of public policy; the right to participate -- the networkof public opinion stimulate the enthusiasm of the people’s politicalparticipation;the right to express - -the network of public opinion expressionbreaks restriction of the traditional right to speak; the right to supervise-- thenetwork of public opinion interaction strengthen democratic supervision.thenegative influence as follows:The expansion of information gap, the harm ofinternet rumors and the threat of group polarization. Therefore,facing thedisadvantages of Internet public opinion, we should take preventive measures toguide the work.The fifth part is how to regulate and guide Internet public opinion in order tostrengthen the building of democratic politics.Mainly from the political systemtheory to analyse.Three corresponding perspectives of Internet publicopinion.The government perspective--Political decision-making process;Themedia perspective--the political system of "Pipe" function and the internet usersperspective--Grass-roots public opinion.
