Marx’s Social Thought Technology

The 21st century is a period when everything changes beyond imagination, while in themean time, human beings still face unprecedented opportunities as well as challenges. Theacceleration of globalization, the multification of the world, the complex situation in the worldand the competition among countries in terms of social power and resources all lead to thedamage of the environment and the eco-system in the world, bringing us into a society filled withcrisis. In our social life, we human seek a kind of society in harmonious development and go forliberalization and freedom, but in the process of development come a great number ofunharmonious factors, particularly in the respect of the relationship between human beings andthat between human and society. Social technology is a system of knowledge which cancoordinate the relationship between humans and that between human and society. Moreimportantly, it is also a system of practical knowledge which can solve the problems andconflicts in the social practice. To create a harmonious society and build a beautiful family foreveryone, we need to make the best of the powerful weapon---social technology to solve theurgently-need-solving conflicts and problems.Based on the research on the tensility of social technology, this paper first examines thedefinition, the configuration and the feature of social technology, then it interprets theconnotation, property and feature of social technology from the research on the noumenon ofsocial technology. Finally, this paper explores social technology in Maxims. That is from theperspective of philosophy. In Maxims, we didn’t find the term---social technology, but in thediscussion of“social relations”, he referred to the meaning of social technology, especially in thediscussion about“social integration”and“social security”, both of which had reflected theglorious thinking of social technology. Thus, it is our aim in this paper to make the direct andindirect expression obvious, laying the foundation for the research on Maxims and socialtechnology.This paper conducted a comprehensive and systematic research on the term technology andsocial technology, especially on the meaning of social technology in Maxisms. The research is ofgreat value both theoretically and practically. In theory, this paper enriches the value of socialtechnology in Maxisms and broadens the theory. In practice, the research can facilitates theinnovation of social technology and push forward the scientific level of social management andthus promote the whole-person development and social harmony.
