Adjusting the height, position and angle of the work piece are often needed to make sure that the work piece can be jointed and assembled conveniently and precisely. The pattern of traditional practices is the combination of traveling crane and wire belt, and conduct bundling and position adjusting before components hosting. However, it has a problem of low security and poor work efficiency. Focus on the shortcoming of the traditional method, a method of wireless control technology is adopted according to the characteristic of the long work piece to realize the turning and position transforming, which can improve the efficiency and security significantly.Firstly, based on the analysis of the operating principle of the existing welding flip device, a plan of turning overhead is proposed according to the pump truck assembly line process. Secondly, a new wire belt is designed on the basis of the plan and a study of the dual-beam double-gourd traffic application of throughout the reversal process. The controller is designed using wireless remote control technology.Thirdly, optimize the appearance of flip device through the three-dimensional software, then carry out the simulation of the rotating, hoisting, and transporting of the boom under the three-dimensional digital factory environment, which not only reduces design errors but also shorten the design cycle.Finally, for the purpose of accomplishing the optimization of boom flip device well, rectify the problems that found in the actually running of the prototype timely to verify whether the flip device meets design requirements or not.
