The pigment of CoO-SiO2and CoO-SnO2enrich the cobalt blue pigment color of the traditional spinel of CoO-Al2O3system, which make it have important practical significance to deeply study the pigment of cobalt blue system. In this paper, the pigment of blue-violet of CoO-SiO2and sky blue of CoO-SnO2were mainly synthesized with solid state reaction method, and the influence of synthesis condition and ion doping to the pigments synthesis were studied. The pigments were characterized by X-ray analysis technology (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and thermal analysis technology.The research shows that the synthesis temperature of spinel phase Co2SnO4blue pigment is1250℃and the holding time is2h. The pigments show different color of sky blue, blue-green and ching when doped Zn2+、Mg2+、Al3+ions, in which the corlor of xCoO(2-x)MgO·Sn02system is stable. When the range of the parameter of x is0.1to0.4, the pigment color is sky blue and the color turn darker with the increasing of x. The mineralization agent will be useful to cut down the calcination temperature that it can lower to1100℃if5%wt NaF is added.The research shows that the synthesis temperature of olivine phase of CoO-SiO2system pigment is1200℃and the holding time is2h. For the CoO-SiO2blue violet pigment, the color is more ideal when the more ratio of cobalt and silicon (CoO:SiO2) is2. The different doping ions of Zn2+、Mg2+、Ca2+、Ba2+、Sr2+、Ti4+、Al3+also showed different color of jewelry blue, pink, vielot, nattier blue, green and deep blue. The reason of color changes caused by the doping ions is that the coordination state is changed. Different blue color pigment can get when ZnO and Al2O3were doped and good sapphire blue pigment was got when the x is0.1-1.0for xCoO(2-x)ZnO·SiO2system. The mineralization agent will influence the pigment and the calcination temperature can lower to1100℃if5%wt NaF is added.
