Blue inorganic pigments are widely used in coatings,ceramics,glass,printing and art industries.As the market demand for its performance gradually increased and people's awareness of environmental protection,how to prepare high-red phase,rich colors,small size and green blue inorganic pigments is particularly important.In this paper,spinel CoAl2O4,silicite?Zn,Co?2SiO4 and yttrium indium manganese blue were selected as the research object.The influence of the types and proportions of raw materials,sintering temperature and time for the structure,color and morphology of the pigments were studied.The luminescent properties of rare earth doped yttrium indium manganese blue were also studied.The main contents and conclusions are as follows:?1?For the CoAl2O4 pigment,with the increasing of the Co content in the raw material,the lightness value L of the product decreases,the A value increases first and then decreases,and the B value decreases first and then increases.When Co: Al = 1: 2?mol?,the pigment chromatic a good blue.With the increasing of the sintering temperature and the sintering time,it is favorable for the formation of CoAl2O4,and the pigment lightness value L and the A value increase,and the B value decreases.The mineralizer promotes the solid phase reaction while the size of the product particles became larger.The mineralizer KNO3 decreased the A of the pigment and the B value increased,while the mineralizer HBO3 significantly increased the A value of the pigment and the B value increased slightly.?2?For the?Zn,Co?2SiO4 pigment,the pigment with the size of the pigment from a few microns to ten microns can be synthesized when change the relative content of Co,Zn and Si in the raw materials.The color from dark green to bright blue series of pigments.The product mainly contains hexagonal?Zn,Co?2SiO4 and unreacted free SiO2.When the relative content of Co: Zn: Si is 0.30: 0.25: 0.45 mol,the pigment has strong red phase blue,and its LAB?25.55,15.32,-51.17?.Compared with the silica fume as the silicon source,and the silica sol as the silicon source,the lightness value L and the A value of the pigment under the same conditions can be improved obviously.The sintering temperature is favorable for the synthesis of?Zn,Co?2SiO4pigment,which increases the A value,decreases the B value,and the fine silica sol particles is favorable for pigment synthesis,but the silica sol particles are easy to reactso that the product particles agglomerate;Diatomaceous earth can be a certain extent to prevent the silica sol particles in the solid phase before the agglomerate,but the pigment lightness value L and the A value decreased and the B value increased.?3?For the YIn1-xMnxO3 pigment,the product gradually transitions from the hexagonal phase YIn O3 to the hexagonal phase YMnO3 with the increasing of the Mn content.When x increases from 0 to 0.2,the product's lightness value L and the B value decrease rapidly,?27.12,5.14,-38.53?.With the increasing of the sintering temperature,the A value of YIn0.9Mn0.1O3 pigment increases,and the B value decreases;And the sintering time has little effect on the chromaticity value of the pigment;YIn0.9Mn0.1O3 has a good transmittance in the infrared band,and it can realize the visible and infrared?upper?luminescence;YIn0.9Mn0.1O3 blue pigment can be synthesized through sol-gel method at a lower temperature?950 ??.
