Vibrating device for crystallizer of continuous caster is significant assembling that influence the productivity effect of continuous casting and the quality of casting blank, oscillation of mould is critical factor that influence production quality and volume of production. So, it is important for practical value that researching mechanical dynamics of vibrating device for crystallizer of continuous caster.In this paper, the spring structure for crystallizer of continuous caster was called the board-spring vibration device of mould, the development of the mould oscillation way and the vibration device of mould was simple introduced at the first, then, the development of sinusoidal vibration way of mould at home and abroad was represented. At the base of above, combining with the spring structure for crystallizer of continuous caster in some steel mill, researching kinematics and dynamics of the board-spring vibration device of mould and optimizing parameter of this vibrator were focused on that. Works in under several ways were working in chief.(1) On the basis of learning all about the operating principle of the spring structural system of the continuous casting mould, the relevant physical model was created after certain simplification that made on the structural system. Then, the physical model was analysed, the kinematics and dynamics mathematical model of rigid body was created. At last, the above mathematical model was solved by using the software MATLAB. So, the displacement, velocity, acceleration and some kinematics characteristic curve of the department and the mechanical performance curve of the department were obtained by programming in MATLAB.(2) On the basis of solving the above rigid-body dynamics, the spring structural system of the continuous casting mould was lucubrated. The spring was regarded as the flexible part, and the structural system was made certain simplification, the rigid-flexible physical model was created. Then the physical model was analysed, the simple rigid-flexible dynamic mathematical model was created. The rigid-flexible dynamic mathematical model was solved by building function in MATLAB software, the angle and displacement curve of the rigid body are obtained by programming in MATLAB. At last, the comparative analysis of the above result and the first result was made.(3) The entity modeling of vibrating device for crystallizer of continuous caster was made by using Solidworks three-dimensional modeling software and the dynamical simulation software ADAMS. The three-dimensional virtual simulation modeling of vibrating device for crystallizer of continuous caster was created after applying the loading and some boundary conditions. The angular velocity, angular acceleration, displacement and some kinematics characteristic curve of the department and the mechanical performance curves of the department were obtained. At last, the comparative analysis of the above result and the result of the first two parts was made.(4) On the basis of the result of the first three parts, the basic parameter of vibrating device for crystallizer of continuous caster were optimized to start with three aspects that is the revolute pair load on the swinging arm, the shaking force, the elliptical and the negative slippage. The above optimizing result of the first three parts was obtained on different amplitude and different frequency condition.The analysis of rigid-body dynamics, rigid-flexible dynamics and mechanism simulation were made in vibrating device for crystallizer of continuous caster, that set the stage for the optimization basic parameter of vibrating device for crystallizer of continuous caster, and that provided numerical reference for physical design, improvement of breed and maintenance device of vibrating device for crystallizer of continuous caster, that also providing theoretical foundation for realizing small amplitude and high frequency dynamic condition in the vibrating device for crystallizer of continuous caster.
