The output metering technology, which is commonly used in our country, is that several wells output in a range was transported to a metering station or test station nearby, and then it was transported to the oil processing or storage station far-away. This kind of output metering method is neither economical nor appropriate for the development of the oil company in present age. More important is that the measuring accuracy is not high enough. One of the solutions to this problem is understand and grasp working condition of oil production system, and realize the output metering of single oil well. So this can simplify the processing sequences and increase economic effect in home oil production, and at the same time it can improve the accuracy of the output metering. Surface liquid yield measurement using dynamometer card (SLYMUDC) was developed to solve the problem of single well output metering. Although this method has partly applied to oil-field production, such as Changqing oil field, and this method has prodigious advantages prior to other methods, there are still some problems left unsolved. This paper completed some tasks in view of SLYMUDC.The basis of metering single well output using surface liquid yield measurement using dynamometer card technology is estimate the working condition of bump rationally and exactly. This paper confirmed the working condition of bump according to the theory of traditional dynamometer card, combing the dynamometer card tested in spot, and provides relevant solutions. Firstly taking he dynamometer card tested in spot as boundary condition, and then set up one-dimensional wave equation based on stress analysis of sucker rod string, regarding hole deviation angle and azimuth angle of well. Then solve this equation and obtain the dynamometer card of pump.On the basis of above-mentioned working, this paper does a quantitative analysis of oil well production. According to obtained the bump dynamometer card, this paper proposes to approximate curvature of dynamometer card of pump discrete point with curvature of continuous curve. And through analysis of pump dynamometer card geometric features, divide area to search max curvature point. This method can accurately judge the valve opening and closing position. After that, effective stroke of pump is obtained. Finally, the method of metering single well output is completed, combining the method of computing leakage态coefficient of fullness.Finally, according to dynamometer card of pump calculated from wave equation mentioned above, production of single oil well can be calculated, and the error is within10%, according to the production data measured on the spot. The simulation and the calculation of dynamometer cards proof that this method appropriates for the development of the oil company, and certificate feasibility of surface liquid yield measurement using dynamometer card.
