Chinese Sturgeon Protection Of Local Legislation Research

After half a century of development, nature reserves play an important role in conservation of natural environment, resources and endangered species in China. As we know, the protection of environment and resources is not only the responsibility of the State, but also belongs to the local government and local legislation. As a kind of the particular endangered species, the Chinese Sturgeon should be strictly protected by the local government of Shanghai.In the first part of my paper, the Chinese Sturgeon and the ways of protection was introduced. the scientific and economic value of the Chinese Sturgeon prove the necessity of protection, the current situation of protection shows the problem in the actual work and the degree of difficulty in the future.In the second part of the article, I introduce the main content of the "Administration measures of Shanghai Yangtze Estuarine Nature Reserve for Chinese Sturgeon", which was issued by Shanghai Municipal People’s Government. At the same times, I analyze not only the main issues in this government regulation, but also the reason behinds these problems.In order to solve the problem and improve the survive of the Chinese Sturgeon, in order to strengthen the legal system of management of the Shanghai Yangtze Estuarine Nature Reserve, in the last part of my paper, I suggest that it’s time to provide some local legislative proposals, which means the new government regulations should be created. Therefore, there is important practical significance to research the management system of Nature Reserve for Chinese Sturgeon, propose relevant legal suggestion, and further improve the legal system of the nature reserve. In my paper, the focus on:i.the current status of the protection about the Chinese Sturgeon. ii.the main problems of legal system of the Shanghai Yangtze Estuarine Nature Reserve. iii.the idea of improving local laws and regulations.
