Tool magazine and manipulator as key components of the machining center, is the weak link in the reliability of a machining center. Based on improving the machining center time between failures, the much-needed depth analysis and experimental study should be against to the failure and reliability of the tool magazine and manipulate. With the support of the major special of the National Science and Technology, we studied many aspects of chain magazine and manipulator, such as in reliability modeling, reliability allocation and reliability of the design and analysis.Reliability modeling is the key to the analysis of reliability of the system. Taking Dalian high gold MDH80as the research object, this article establishes the reliability of the functional block diagram reliability of the mathematical model and the fault tree model, which belong to its subsystems. Then with this, design reliability test program, set up a test system, combined with its course of action formulate reliability experiment testing processes.Combined with the characteristics of the chain magazine and the manipulator system, determine its reliability allocation method, and allocating its subsystem reliability. Against the multi-failure modes for mechanical parts, taking the compression spring of the manipulator as the research object, research parts reliability design method based on multi-failure mode.The output accuracy of the drive system is important to the success of manipulator tool change.Against the drivetrain positioning allowed, the too-large motion error, which lead to the manipulator sticking or falling knives, this paper analyzes the meaning and function of the action reliability design, builds a model of output accuracy of typical transmission system, research and proposed the action reliability design method of transmission system, and then analysis the transmission system reliability of Dalian high gold MDH80.Study factors that affect the system or component completing action, combination of the life process and the work environment of systems or components, analysis the whole process of system’s motor function decline until the failure, make sure the main factors, take the chain magazine and manipulator drive components as the research object, build wear models, analysis its key components and traditional system precision attenuation process.Through systematic study on the reliability of the chain magazine and manipulator, it can provide domestic chain magazine and manipulator reliability with analysis methods and design basis...
