graphene, heretofore, including excellent electronic conductivity, nice mechanical performance, good resist-thermic ability and low density, is the thinnest material in thickness and newest elementary carbon substance during discovering. Graphene combinated with magnetic iron who can remain high saturation magnetization, as-synthesised material coated with Silica is prone to satisfied four demands of Thin coating thickness, low density, broad absorbing band and strong microwave absorption that an excellent microwave absorbing material should content. The motive of the article is to synthesize microwave material that content four demands above. The main contents are as follows:(1) Prepare iron particles with solvent-thermal method, then as-synthesised material were characterized and analysed characteristic.(2) Preparation of iron magnetic material is the foundation of synthesize composite materials in the whole experiment. We found in the experiment that scheme (1) isn’t the fine method of prepararion of nanoparticles we need. So we choose new method of using KBH4as reducer, using peristaltic pump to control dropping speed of reducing agent and then investigate conditions of affect the reaction of this new method.(3) Graphene was involved in the atmoaphere of synthesis of iron magnetic material during preparation of graphene based material. Special amount of surface active agent was added to enhance solution of graphene in the water, then characterize as-synthesized material.(4) Preparation of Silica coated material using methods of oil in water and two-agent. Because of iron nanoparticles are prone to oxidated by oxygen, the Fe/RGO material used in the preparation of SiO2/Fe/RGO) composite was obtained directly using filtrated composite attained in the scheme (3).(5) Microwave absorbing properties of the as-synthesized materials was tested, then formula of compute microwave capacity was used with electromagnetic parameter to obtain microwave absorbing ability of material. Following procedure was compared different microwave aborbing abilities and sum up the conclutions.
