Nickel-based high-temperature alloy with good mechanical deformation,oxidation resistance and resistance to high temperature performance, is widelyused in many important fields, such as modern aviation, navigation, the nuclearindustry and so on. However, its lower thermal conductivity, larger materialplasticity and serious work hardening, the traditional processing way is verydifficult to guarantee machining quality of parts. Low temperature processingtechnology as the category of green manufacturing can solve the difficultproblem of processing hard of the processed material successfully.Based on the cryogenic machining technology and DEFORM-3D finiteelement analysis method, the nickel-based high-temperature alloy Inconel718asthe research object, aiming at the problem of poor processing performance, thethesis formulates the choice of the cutting environment and the establishment ofcutting parameter. Using single factor and orthogonal experiment method, thecomparison and analysis of the cutting were done under the normal and lowertemperature environment.This research explains the influence law of cuttingtemperature and cutting force under the case of changing cutting parameters,heat transfer coefficient and the knife-chip friction factor and so many otheraspects. Multiple linear regression analysis is adopted to establish the empiricalformula of the cutting temperature, and using range analysis to set up theoptimum cutting parameter combination of cutting temperature and cuttingforce.The research results show that the low temperature processing comparedwith normal temperature processing, the cutting temperature and cutting force ofthe cutting tool has a certain degree of reducing. Using finite element analysismethod after the test which can save a lot of time and cost has broad prospectsfor development.
