Dye wastewater is one of the sources of the most extremely environmental pollution. There are lots of organism and salinity, which are always difficult problems in waste water treatment. With the development of dyes and dyeing industry, new varieties of the dyes are incessantly escalating, and it develops to anti-photolysis, anti-oxidation. There are many kinds of biologically toxicant organism in the dye wastewater, which is difficultly to be harnessed by using common methods.White-rot fungus is one kind of filamentous fungus, which belongs to basidiomycete. At present, they are the only known microorganism that can degrade lignin into CO2 and H2O in pure culture. Using white-rot fungus to decolorize and degrade the dyes is viewed as an economical and efficient method of the dye wastewater pollution abatement. The author in this paper focused on the culture of white-rot fungus and decolorization of the dye wasterwater, and revealed the mechanism of decolorization and degradation of the dye wastewater based on the analysis of its relatively affecting factors. The experimental results show that the optimal of culture condition is static cultivation, its temperature is 30℃, and its initial pH is 5.0. The best carbon source is glucose, the best nitrogen source is carbamide, and the influencing order of three independent variables is that nitrogen source>carbon source>pH. The vaccination quantity is 10.0%. ABTS as an inducer is propitious to the laccase production. The decolorization is 76% after 24-hour degradation when the dye is added in the 7th day. The relativity between mycelial weight and laccase activity is: R=0.97075, which shows that they are affinity. The relativity between decolorization and mycelial weight is: R=0.95438 and the relativity between decolorization and laccase activity is: R=0.98934, which show that decolorization with mycelial weight and laccase activity is affinity...
