As problems of energy shortage and environmental pollution,which are caused byoil,people pay more and more attention to the technology and equipment for purificateand renew of waste oil. The existing oil filter is with low dehvdration efficiency.Inorder to improve this situation,appliy the vacuum to oil filter to improve workingvacuum is put forward,and then,the energy consumption of oil filter will bereduced,the work efficiency of oil filter can be improved.Because of the developmentof vacuum technology,the pump has many advantages in performance and structure,soit is widely used in many fileds and is applied to a variety of environmental protectionequipment.The performance of scroll vacuum pump is decided by its type line,so,weshould analyze the characteristics of vortex type line theoretically to know andimprove the vacuum pump.Starting from the vacuum technology,the development and application of vacuumpump are illustrated in this paper,and points out that the performance of vacuum pumpis decided by the type line.The constituation of type line need to conform to certainprinciples,by analyzing the mathematical meanings which are expressed by the linecoordinate transformation and the cartesian coordinate,the theoretical basis of typelines making-up is illustrated,so it can give a basis for forming of the general typevortex line.According to the commonality of a single vortex line,general type vortex line isformed.The meaning of the forming of general type vortex line and the mathematicalnature of line itself are analyzed.By choosing different parameters of general typevortex line,different basical lines can be obtained,the features of general type vortexline indicate that it is the collection of various single line,and itself is a new kind ofline,which can characterize the variation of the line.Based on the advantages of general type vortex line,this paper analyzes thethickness variation of scrolls from a mathematical point of view,which are made up bygeneral type vortex line.By the software of MATLAB,corressponding scrolls picturescan be draw,so the correctness of previous theoretical analysis is confirmed.Theconclusion that when k is equal to two,the thickness of scrolls is the same,and when kis equal to or more than to three,the thickness of scrolls is variable can be get,and asthe number k is increase,the change trend of the thickness is also increasing.As the performance of scrolls with variable thickness are superior than scrolls with samethickness,it showed that it is meaningful to research the thickness variation of scrolls.
