| Vanadium Redox Battery(VRB) is a new type of storage battery which is widly used in the solar and wind power generation systems for it can compensate for the shortcomings of solar and wind power’s intermittent and instability.VRB charger is the key devices in the VRB storage systems,its property affect the application prospects of VRB. And the charger with the characteristics of switching power supply is the delvop trends.After learning interrelated technology home and abroad,the research group determine the technology proposal based on the Boost circuit and some relevant control technology to achieve power factor correction.And the charger designed have characteristics of low polution,automation,efficient,stable and reliable of switching power supply.This passage first introduce the key circuit of the VRB charger: the Boost circuit,full-bridge inventer circuit etc,and analysis the hardware functions simply.then research the relevant technology to achieve power factor correction,including:Boost circuit control technology, the full-bridge inverter control technology, the PWM pulse width modulation, zero-crossing detection method, the sine of the given method, etc.and third writing the main control algorithm program to realize the use of chip resource according to the Software implementation of the overall process with the idea of Modular programming. And finally do some test to the prototype,including:The system’s overall efficiency,power factor,harmonic content indicators,as well as the stability.We get the system’s main indicators after all the test done:The system’s overall efficiency is above90%,the power factor is above99%,and the harmonic is below5%. The charger system is Efficient and intelligent,stable and reliable. |
