With the rapid development of Chinese economy and the increase of newly-builtresidential area, the traditional single-layer flat parking lot can’t meet the increasingneeds for parking. The foundation to solve this kind of parking problem in residentialareas is through three-dimensional garage, while the up-down and parallel transferring3D garage is one of the forms. Basing on analysis of operation principles andcharacteristics of various3D garages, and on the real situations of residential areas, thisthesis explores the feasibility of flat parking lot on ground as well as the combination of2D and3D up-down and parallel transferring garages on underground, all of whichconsist of the parking lot of a residential area. The thesis puts the emphasis on the studyof3D garage on the underground of a residential area, and the content is as follows:1. Analysis on the importance of3D garage to residential areas, and theestablishment of2D and3D garage mold on underground area basing on the realsituation of3D garage and the basis of up-down and parallel transferring3D garage.2. Analysis on the operation principles of2D and3D up-down and paralleltransferring garage as well as the feasibility of parking&driving-away in3D garages,and the programming and debugging of3D garage system with the help ofProgrammable Logic Controller.3. Simulation of the control system by KingView, realizing the making ofmonitoring picture of the control system in parking lots in residential areas.
