Taiyuan Bus Network Model Based On Complex Network Research

With the development of China’s economy, more and more people go intothe city, and motor vehicles become more and more, so cities become morecrowded. The most important way to solve city congestion is to develop citypublic transport. In order to verify the reasonableness of the current bus linesand provide a reference for the design and planning of new bus lines, in view ofthe development status of the Taiyuan bus lines, this paper introduce thecomplex network theory and build the city bus network model.Firstly, the paper introduces the basic concepts of complex network briefly.Common statistical characteristics and the nature of complex network modelsare described.Then, combined with the practical features of the complex network theoryand Taiyuan bus lines,we constructed three kinds of the Taiyuan bus networkmodel(bus sites network,bus transfer network and bus line network）.Finally,The nature of each network is analyzed.Based on the three types of network model, we verify the robustness andvulnerability of the network. The paper carried out simulated attack onTaiyuan bus sites network and bus line network. Simulation results show thatTaiyuan bus site network is scale-free network，shows robustness facing torandom attack.On the contrary，this network shows very fragile facing todeliberate attack. The Taiyuan bus line network is the small-world networks andmore evenly distributed. The efficiency difference is not obvious faced with twoattacks.
