More than half a century, it had made great progressed in microelectronic, powerelectronic and the manufacturing process of permanent magnet materials, the AC servosystem has been widely used in the production and lives, which executing agency is thepermanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), especially, in some fields which needvery high precision. Therefore, it is very important and decides directly the speed ofindustry development and the improving of people’s quality of life.In this thesis, firstly, it talks about the development and trend of AC servo systemall over the world. Secondly, it introduces the basic structure and electromagneticrelations of PMSM, and then establishes a mathematical model for it, which dynamicperformance is analyzed. Finally, after in-depth studying the vector control of PMSM, itproposed a design of PMSM’s AC servo system, and then establishes a hardwareplatform and designs software about it.About control strategy, the rotor magnetic field oriented vector control (FOC) isthe control scheme of PMSM’s AC servo system, which has two feedback loops, currentloop and velocity loop. The current loop’s regulator is a PI regulator, and the velocityloop’s regulator is a model reference adaptive controller (MRAC).The control strategyof power inverter adapts space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM).About hardware, the main control unit of servo driver is a digital signal processor(DSP) of Texas Instruments, which type is TMS320F2812, the power conversionmechanism unit is a intelligent power module (IPM) of Mitsubishi, which type isPM50CL060. Series of peripheral circuits are designed according to the performanceand characteristics of DSP and IPM, for example, system power supply circuit, phasecurrent sensing circuit, A/D corrected circuit and so on. All of these modules form ahardware platform of PMSM’s AC servo system, and than a communication interfaceand protocol is designed on the basis of this hardware platform.About software, it designs the overall structure of software system and controlprogram about DSP, and then elaborates the algorithm process of PI control algorithm,MRAC algorithm and SVPWM algorithm and how to realize these algorithm in digital system.Finally, a simulation model of PMSM’s FOC is established in Matlab simulink, thesimulation result shows that the driver designed in this paper is stable and reliable.
