Foreign air refueling technology relies on its large aircraft as a platform has beenwidely application, with the development of China’s large aircraft. Large aircraftconverted into aerial refueling tanker is a developing trend, it need to develop thematching air refueling pods which based on the electro-hydraulic servo technology.On the basis of the refueling hose control and drive numerical control pod hosespeed electro-hydraulic control shortcomings,identified to improve the performance ofthe CNC pod. For hose speed hydraulic servo control hose control modeling, modelingbased on the analysis of steady-state performance and dynamic performance and lagcorrection. For the system, a Fuzzy self-tuning PID controller, the simulation model andsimulation using MATLAB tools, simulation results are analyzed to determine theimproved control strategy better meet the hose speed electro-hydraulic servo systemperformance requirements, through the design, detail the formation of design, andfinally in the prototype, the hydraulic control of the hose speed test.The hose speed control to expand the application of the fuzzy self-tuning PIDcontroller in the hose speed electro-hydraulic servo system. After the test to point thatthe key to improve the performance of existing CNC pod hose speed hydraulic servocontrol. Normal lag correction can not be achieved electro-hydraulic servo controlsystem for steady-state design and dynamic design, and controller designed to meetsystem performance requirements. The results show that the design of the hose speedservo control system which with the Fuzzy self-tuning PID controller responsecharacteristics of a good, strong robustness and has a strong anti-jamming capability, theoperating parameters of thenumerical control pod hose speed change over timeadaptability strong. The test fuel in the refueling hose drag, to simulate response to theapparent effectiveness of the speed of the wrapping process control, good in theory, thesystem dynamic characteristics,stable performance, good performance traceability.
