The aerial refueling technology can greatly improve the endurance of the aircraft,and enhance air combat capabilities,which has great significance to the development of China’s aviation industry.At present,China still has many problems in the aspects of aerial refueling technical.Although Xian Y-20 is expected to become China’s first large aerial tanker in the future,China still lacks experience in the conversion of large aircraft into tanker,and existing domestic research often only focuses on a certain aspect of aerial refueling.Researchers and engineering designers engaged in aerial refueling technology in our country especially need a modeling and simulation system for the entire process of aerial refueling.In this paper,the research on aerial refueling modeling and simulation system is carried out according to this situation.The thesis focuses on the core issues in aerial refueling modeling and simulation systems:Firstly,the requirements of the aerial refueling simulation system are analyzed,the overall structure design of the simulation system is designed,the system function modules and main functions are given,and the software platform for developing the system is introduced.Then,the hose-drogue model and atmospheric model is studied.Simplify the hose-drogue model to link model,and the rigid-body dynamics and kinematics were analyzed to establish hose-drogue model.Introduce the standard atmospheric model,Dryden atmospheric turbulence model,1-cosine discrete gust model and modified Helmholtz horseshoe vortex model.Next,a numerical simulation method based on potential flow theory is proposed to investigate the bow wave effect.The method takes into account the geometrical characteristics of the head of receiver,so it is suitable for different types of aircraft.It has good versatility,accuracy and real-time performance,can be used in the real-time simulation and controller design for autonomous aerial refueling.The algorithm is implemented using MATLAB,and the computational fluid dynamics simulation under the same conditions is performed with Fluent software,the comparison between them verifies the accuracy of the algorithm.Several docking methods are designed and the docking laws are analyzed.Finally,based on the above models,an aerial refueling model based on MATLAB / Simulink was established,a graphical user interface was established to realize human-computer interaction,and an aerial refueling modeling and simulation system is realized.The simulation system is easy to use,has good encapsulation,and is easy to expand.Based on the system,a series of experiments were performed.In these experiments,the factors affecting the aerial refueling process were explored,and the research results have guiding significance for the design of the actual system.
