Air refueling technology plays an important role in the field of modern aviation,this paper carried out a detailed study on the probe-and-drogue aerial refueling in the aerial refueling technology.A model has also been created on the hose-cone system and the dynamic characteristics of the hose has been studied during deployment and retrieval Process.About the numerical calculation methods of flow field in tanker and receiver,in this paper,the numerical methods of flow field is introduced in details with the aspect of flow control equation and its spatial discretization method,temporal discretization method,boundary conditions and turbulence model.In this paper,the finite volume method is applied to solve the N-S equation,and the convection flux term is solved by the Roe scheme with FDS.Based on the finite element discretization,a model were established for the hose-drogue system.Then we use the neighbor-to-neighbor algorithm to quickly search the grid flow field information of the hose.Moreover,on the basis of the flow field information,the force of the filler hose was calculated,the motion governing equations of the filler hose was established,and the kinematics and dynamics equations were deduced.Finally,the hose's movement was advanced by Runge-Kutta method.The dynamic characteristics of the deployment and retrieval of the hose were simulated and the dynamic characteristics of the hose in the docking phase were simulated.The dynamic characteristics study of the hose in this paper is of certain significance in probe-anddrogue aerial refueling.
