With the constantly increasing of human research on the field of digital signal, the digital acquisition system application environment has become increasingly more complex. As a representative of the digital test field, the role of the digital oscilloscope become increasingly, accordingly requirements have become more sophisticated. The total is well known that the level of collection and storage capacity directly reflects the performance of the digital oscilloscope. This paper focuses on these two key indicators to expand the analysis and discussion, through the design and development process on a digital storage oscilloscope, to illustrate the implementation of single-channel the largest2GSPS real-time sampling rate and deep memory function.According to the requirements of the design tasks and targets, as well as the understanding of the previous digital acquisition system with core of the ADC+FPGA+DSP, this paper applies a new generation of digital oscilloscope architecture with dual-core ADC acquisition core and DDR2SDRAM memory core, increasing the sampling rate of the oscilloscope by the ADC sampling flatten technology, but also enhancing the storage capacity of the oscilloscope which based on DDR2twice the data throughput rate of DDR. Around this two core, the paper carries the following discussion:(1) Combination of time-interleaved sampling technique, it completes the design of the sampling rate of single-channel2GSPS, by setting up the acquisition of the ADC FPGA platform;(2) By the design of high-speed data cache module and MCB module, it builds the FPGA+DDR2SDRAM memory platform, and completes analysis and implementation of the DDR2SDRAM and deep storage technology;(3) Combined with signal integrity analysis and a range of issues around the design of the circuit board, it proposes optimization program by analyzing the reasons from the HyperLynx simulation software, and eventually completes the PCB design of the digital oscilloscope;(4)In the ISE and the VisualDSP++simulation environment, it tests the acquisition and storage module of the system, and analyzes the test result;By the test and analysis, the design succeeds in achieving2GSPS real-time sample rate and deep memory function, and reaches the expected targets.
