Combined damage of the fragments and shock wave to the armed helicopter was studied in this paper. First, in order to the AH-64armed helicopter as the research target, the basic form, the structure, the dimension and the damage mechanism of the armed helicopter were analyzed, and basis on the intension-equivalent method of the damage-form, the equivalent model of armed helicopter was obtained. Second, the calculated model of kill elements parameters after blast-fragmentation warhead explosion was established, and the combined damages model of the fragments and shock wave to the helicopter were established. Finally, the structure dynamic response of helicopter was obtained by simulation, and the effects of warhead explosives charge, explosion position, and fragments perforation density on damage of the helicopter were analyzed.The studies showed that:the rotor and the top of fuselage were the most dangerous parts of the helicopter, so the best explosion position of warhead was above the helicopter. For the typical blast fragmentation warhead, when the maximum target missdistance was5.0m, the rotor could be damaged. When the maximum target missdistance was3.5m, the fuselage could be damaged. The helicopter’s destruction was severely affected by the warhead explosion position; the damage of helicopter was sharply diminished with the increasing distance between explosion position and helicopter. The kill rank of helicopter was more serious with the increasing of explosive charge, and when the explosive charge average increased by2.0kg, the stress of helicopter’s cross section increased by16%-25%. The kill rank of helicopter increased with the perforation density, but the destruction effect of helicopter was slightly by the perforation density. Compared with the effect of shock wave, the gain was smooth of the helicopter damage caused by the combination effect of fragments(perforation hole n=20) and shock wave, and the helicopter’s section stress caused by the combined damage of two kinds kill elements incresed by11.5%-20.6%.
