With the rapid development in China, the demand for electricity is increasing also. In order to make sure that the security and stability of electrical equipment on working is very important. Timely understanding of capacitive dielectric loss for the high-voltage electrical equipment, can show the electrical insulation for us, this can effectively ensure the reliable operation of high voltage devices as well as provide judging as an important basis. This paper is based on the real project. The system is based on the lower computer acquisition by using the improved zero-crossing comparison measurement of dielectric loss and transfers the data to upper computer via wireless way. Finally, it can achieve the display, query and printing functions via programming on host computer.Firstly, this paper analysis the physical meaning of the dielectric loss and dielectric loss are analyzed and compared in several methods of measurement strengths and weaknesses as well as putting forward the improved method to measure the zero dielectric loss based on the complex of design and cost down requirement.Secondly, the paper use C8051F023as the acquisition design of lower computer’s collector and how to choose the right sensor as well as relative design for conditioning circuit, zero-crossing detection, wireless communication integrated circuit, power supply, clock and other circuitry. On the basis of hardware design in the software, it writes a zero-crossing detection program, AD collection procedures and detailed the wireless communication protocol.Thirdly, this paper is based on the data query program of the upper computer. The upper computer is including three parts. Collection procedures perform the control of the collector in the lower computer, read and write in database. Watchdog program ensure collection procedures running well. Data query procedures curve display and data print out.Finally, the paper analyzes the online monitoring system for the results of running results show that the improved detection of zero dielectric loss of comparative method and distributed system architecture for online monitoring system to meet the requirements of high-voltage capacitive-line monitoring equipment.
