With the rapid development of space optics, the demand for optical systems with large aperture, long focal length, high resolution is increasing. Optical alignment is the key procedure to realize the design results and the technical requirements for it is becoming more stringent. The alignment technologies of a15m focal length imaging lens are researched in this paper.The design results of the15m focal length imaging lens have been presented and also its optical performance parameters. Analysis of the influence on the structure and optical properties caused by the change of temperature and the air interval between lenses are made. According to the lens structure, an alignment method is proposed which uses a coordinate measuring machine and is aided by Zemax software. The coordinate measuring machine is introduced and also the principle of measuring lens center deviation. Design the alignment scheme of the imaging lens. According to the test data, the lens center deviation is calculated to verify the coaxiality of the optical system. The air interval values meet the requirements. The optimization method is given with the aid of Zemax software. The focal length is tested in two ways and the results deviate from the theoretical values by-1.12%and-1.24%. The spot diameters of all the fields are within1.5mm. The tested field angle is larger than6°×6°. The test results show that the alignment method is successful.
