This article from the aspects of experiment and theory, the optical lens centering processing and assembly technology are in-depth discussed.This paper first describes the center ’s definition of national standards, and the optical system is introduced the center error, analysis of projection center deviation measurement principle and self collimating reflective measurement principle, and introduces the design and development based on auto collimation measuring principle of the large field of view self collimating center deviation measuring apparatus. Through the center deviation measurement method leads to the controllable centering assembling principle, and introduces two kinds of controllable centering assembling method, one for optical centering assembly, the second optical centering processing assembly. Emphatically introduces the optical centering processing and assembly technology, and introduces the design and development of optical centering processing equipment. According to the actual equipment for optical centering processing assembly center partial precision was analyzed.
