There is no doubt that museum act as a positive role of space of production of culture, but in some kind of social structure and historical context, museum looks like a sanctuary of culture elite. This essay is trying to refer to the concept of publicity and space, establishes the relationship between the publicity and concrete spatial form. The contact of them is not decisive, but productive and occasionality. This feature ensures the people of different identity involved in the museum space could utter their own sound, resulting in a discussion with a kind of publicity. First, the essay outlines the origin and changes of museum history and makes a brief introduction of the contemporary emergence of museum. Secondly, with refering to the researches of Hannah Arendt, Jiirgen Habermas and other sociologists in the public sphere and publicity, the essay is trying to establish the relationship between the sociological concepts and concrete space form. Finally, starting from the inherent characteristics of the space, the essay discuss the public property of the museum, related to the properties of the configuration space, the impact of circulation of museum to publicity and space mechanisms generated by view line.
