At present, the construction of the use of compaction equipments for morevibratory roller and impact roller, as compaction technology development andprogress, compaction methods is also in constant change,the engineeringpractice of medium voltage by former single static, vibration compactiondevelopment up to now the static, vibration, and so on the many kinds of impactcompaction way composite construction. Practice proves that the mostcomprehensive many kinds of compaction way of composite compactionadvantages, its comprehensive efficiency than single compaction method.Therefore, it is necessary to study the new way of compound compaction,compaction equipment so as to realize the innovation and development.The impact vibratory compaction technology composited vibration staticand impact functions. Several compaction techniques of this technology areintegrated on a single roller so as to get better compaction effects. In this paper,we study the impact vibratory compactor,it is a new type compactionmachinery. It is can realize the impact and vibration compaction.Paper in theory illustrates the impact mechanism of vibration compaction,and do some theory analysis and design calculation for the separation of wheels,then design a split type impact wheels working system; Then establish“rack-wheel-soil” mathematical system model of impact vibratory compactor,and has carried on the numerical simulation of mathematical model, based onthe results of numerical simulation, and compare theoretical analysis tocalculation results; Finally, the same tonnage of split type wheel and singlefrequency vibration of the rotor wheel compaction effect is analyzed andcompared, in addition, also made dynamic stress analysis of the ground forimpact block, the results showed that under the condition of the same tonnage,the compaction effect on the ground of split type impact wheels is better thanthe ordinary vibration of wheel.The conclusions of this dissertation is very useful for theoreticalfoundation and provide reference parameters on impact vibratory compaction, also verify the superiority of split type impact roller.What is more, theconclusions can provide strong technical foundation for impact vibratorycompactor test model for the next step in the design and the instruction.
