As an important type of a kind of construction machinery, Hydraulic excavator is themain equipment for earthwork excavation, which played a decisive role in the modernengineering construction. Hydraulic excavator working performance is mainly decided by theworking device. Backhoe excavator is drivened by three hydraulic cylinders individually orcombined action of the working device,so as to realize the digging and transportation ofmaterials. During its motion, the loads beared is more complex, especially at some joint parts.Due to the design and manufacturing and or improper use, joint parts also can appearedrupture, causing unnecessary economic losses of enterprises. So it is of great significance fordynamics simulation and analysis of hydraulic excavator. In addition, with the developmentof hydraulic technology, the science and technology continue to improve, in the nowexcavator studies we have to consider the impact of the hydraulic system in excavator. Howto improve the controlling precision of hydraulic system and the improvement of theperformance has become the urgent problem of hydraulic excavator development in china.Under this background, use the backhoe working equipment of hydraulic excavator of acertain type as the prototype, this paper study on variation of stress on the hinge point ofworking circulation device. Firstly, this paper describes the development status andsystematically research at home and abroad of the excavator industry, and analysis thedevelopment trends of excavator; Then according to the working principle of the backhoeexcavator, this paper using the D-H method of homogeneous coordinate transformationcompleted the excavator working device kinematic modelingļ¼Œthen it using Lagrange equationto establish the dynamics model of excavator working deviceļ¼Œthe working device oftheoretical digging force and the digging resistance were analyzed. Then according to theactual size of working device, the paper using three-dimensional modeling software Pro/E toestablish the virtual prototype model, and import it in ADAMS environment and carries onthe kinematics and dynamics simulation, Through a working cycle simulation of excavator, itobtained relationship between the hinge point load and time. Finally, through the study on theloop system of hydraulic excavator working device, it established a hydraulic systemintegration model of the excavator working device. Based on the mining boom lifting process,through the dynamic simulation of mechanical system and hydraulic system, it gained theresponse of excavator working device of mechanical system under the influence of the hydraulic system, analysised of the interaction of hydraulic system and mechanical systemresponse characteristics. At last,this paper gained the dynamic characteristics of the workingdevice under the selected simulation conditions.Research shows that, Using this method to simulation and analysis the hydraulicexcavator working device,it could avoided design errors in a certain extent and shorten thedesign cycle clearly. In a few words, it provideed the basis and new method for the design ofexcavator working device.
