To satisfy requirements of new generation fighter on operation performance, weapon system launch accuracy and flight control system high maneuverability, flexibility, stability and stealth performance., and put higher requirements to precision and dynamic response performance of air data signal for altitude, airspeed and flow angle, and satisfy demands of single component multifunctional performance in the air data measurement system. For vintage air data measurement system, pressure pipe of transferring pressure signal can be considered as a low-pass filter that leads to comparatively long time delay of output signal with max over1s. Such long time delay cannot meet dynamic response requirement of modern fighter, thus, combine design of probe and calculation component has been proposed which completely eliminates onboard pressure pipe to reduce air data time delay. At the same time, increasing flow direction detection function has been proposed which reduces the amounts of probe out of fuselage to reduce the airplane’s resistance and improve the airplane’s stealth performance.This study subject concentrates on certain aircraft onboard end product which is the functional system capable of air pressure and flow direction detection, air data calculation, correction and output, based on traditional pitot and air data computer to satisfy certain aircraft requirement conducting probe and calculation component combination. Output air data of this product is significantly important to flight control, cockpit display and engine adjustment, etc.This paper fully expounds distributed and flush combine air data measurement system, for air data measurement unit core parts of which wind test verification and flight test research have been conducted, and flight-approval test is successful. Multiple overlay designs and tests have been conducted for air data measurement unit: probe outline design, air data calculation development, miniaturization integrated calculation component design, and software&hardware modularization design,wind test,flight test,etc. These designs have got obvious breakthrough on air data measurement system technics development. The performance of air data measurement unit has reached the level of congener foreign product and properly resolved the real-time and precision poor of air data signal at home and abroad in the same study subject regime. It meets performance requirement of new generation fighter and has relatively high military value and good popularization prospect.
