Battery Wireless Monitoring System Research

This paper takes VRLA battery which is used in UPS system as the research object. Based on the full study of VRLA batteries, this paper use wireless communication technology, MCU technology to design a battery wireless monitoring system. This system can monitor charge and discharge current of battery and voltage of the state, and battery surface temperature at real-time, and resistance of battery. The data which was collected from battery was transferred thought the wireless network which designed specially for this system. At last, those data was uploaded to PC. People can inquire the data and make decisions. The battery monitoring system is divided into hardware part and software part. The part of hardware include battery voltage measurement, temperature measurement, battery charging and discharging current measurement, battery resistance measurement, RS-232interface circuit, wireless circuit and single-chip microcomputer control circuit. The part of software includes the program such as circuit interface, battery parameters measurement, and system function.
