As a key component of the artillery, the efficiency of the firing mechanism is directly related to the design quality of the artillery.This paper focuses on the analysis research on mechanism of the firing mechanism of artillery by combination of theoretical analysis, numerical calculation, dynamic simulation and finite element analysis.The main contents of this paper are below:Firstly, the modeling theory and the method of multi-body system and flexible multi-body system were analyzed. Combined with internal contact/collision characteristics of the firing mechanism, the contact/collision systematic modelling method was focused on comparative analysis and several typical contact/collision models were discussed.Secondly, the modeling of the three solid parts of the firing mechanism was established, then the multi-body dynamics model of the firing mechanism was established and the multi-body dynamics of the firing mechanism was analyzed. Considering the flexibility of the cocking lever sear, launcher putter and electromagnetic rod, the modal analysis were done, the master nodes and slave nodes were constructed separately and the modal neutral file used by the Dynamic Analysis Software wre generated, the rigid and flexible coupling dynamics model was established and rigid and flexible coupling dynamics of the firing mechanism was analyzed.Thirdly, the collision of the hammer and the firing pin were simulated and analyzed, the stress changes of hammer and firing pin were obtained, the place of fracture of the firing pin was identified and the cause was analyzed. Based on the results of the analysis of the dynamics and finite element, the failure mechanisms of the firing mechanism was analyzed from three aspects and some meaningful reference data concusions were drawn. The Latin Hpercube experiment method and orthogonal experiment method were used to analyze the influence for the typical failure of the firing mechanism and the maximum influence factors were found.The methods and approaches of analyzing the firing mechanism for the firing mechanism and the design of the artillery can be of certain reference value and guiding significance.
