Differential is the most important components of drive axle, the torque canbe distributed averagely to the left and right wheels by it.But this feature is alsohas its own disadvantage, the differential has a counterproductive effect when awheel is skidding.It passes the power to the skid wheel, so that the car will nottravel normally. In order to overcome this shortcoming, people invented thelimited slip differential. It’s appearance has a great growth of cars’ powerperformance and through features, and it also has a great improvement of thestability.This paper has a detailed analysis and elaboration on the shortcomings oflimited slip differential in our country and foreign countries. By comparing theadvantages and disadvantages of different limited slip differential, a new limitedslip differential was designed, Its name is Tooth Type Automatic Anti-skidDifferential,it belongs to the differential technology. During the straightdriving,the effect of the new type differential as same as ordinarydifferential.But when the car meets the skid,the limited slip part of the newtype differential begin to work. It passes the most of the power to the wheelswhich are not skidding, so the phenomenon of the slipping has gone away.This paper presents the working principle of the new type differential, inaddition I provides a design method of the main components of the structure andforce analysis. Nest I design a Tooth Type Automatic Anti-skid Differentialbased on the tractor parameter of ZL50loader,and the model of TTAAD wasestablished through the software of Pro/E. Eventually the virtual prototype wasestablished by ADAMS,and the dynamics simulation analysis was carriedout.Two kinds of the working condition were selected in the process of analysis.The analysis results validate the new differential has a non-slip characteristics.
