With the development of science and technology,automatic production has become the main progressing direction of industrial and the industrial robotic technology has also popularized.As one of the three core components of industrial robots,the properties of reducer directily determines the kinematic accuracy and work ability of the robot.Harmonic reducer and RV reducer is more applicated on industrial robotics.Althought they have some advantages,such as compacting structure?large transmission ratio and high transmission precision,their manufacturing precision and material performance requirements are very strict.The technical requirements is also difficult.To a certain extent,Harmonic reducer and RV reducer can meet the needs of industrial robots,but the reducer with high quality and high precision is still the bottleneck issues on the development of industrial robotics.Targeted at the special requirements which demands the gear reducer with high drive ratio in some high-tech field and many flaws of the existing high drive ratio reducer,the physicall design project of the reducer formed by eight bevel gears is presented.The physicall design can be finished after theoretical calculation and virtual mesh technology and the project's feasibility can be verified after the virtual prototyping technology and physical prototype experiment.Considering this from the point of increasing the reducer's drive ratio and decreasing its boundary dimension,utilizing the differential mechanism's two-degree of freedom,combining the theory of gear reducer with small tooth difference,a high drive ratio reducer with two differential mechanism in series can be designed,then,in order to obtain the new reducer's drive characteristic and to demonstrate its correctness,the ADAMS software is adopted to make a 3D drawing and to analyze the virtual prototype.Finally,the objective and meaning of the new reducer's design project can be analyzed by compared with the high drive ratio reducer in existence.The result indicates that the new reducer can obtain a high drive ratio but keep some good characteristic,such as small volume,low mass and high power density.What is more,the new reducer can overcome the imperfection of the new-type reducer caused by their structure,such as the fatigue damage of harmonic reducer's flexible gear and the unbalance of cycloidal pin wheel reducer.The main idea of this article is to research this reducer structure through the theoretical analysis,computer simulation and actual prototype experiment.If the conclusion of the three respects are consistent,the correctness of the transmission principle and structure about this design scheme can be testified...
