Objective:To study the clinical and pathological features of Patients with vulvar carcinoma, andelplore the risk factors of vulvar carcinoma prognosis. Methods: From January 2000 to December 2011, 76 patients with vulvar carcinoma from ShanxiTumor Hospital were eligible for analysis . Statistical methods included SPSS17.0statistical software,Kaplan-meier and long-rank test.Multivariate analysis by COXproportional hazards model analysis. Results:Univariate analysis showed that:clinical stage, histologic grading, lymph node metastasis, therapy were found to be associated with the prognosissurvival.Multivariate analysisshowed that: histologic grading, lymph node metastasis, therapy are independentprognostic factors. The 3 year Survival rates of StageI、II、III、IV were 84.6%、75%、37.5%、60%(3/5),The 3 year Survival rates of Well、middle、poor differentiation were81.8%、62.9%、33.3%,the risk of mortalitywas2.261,indicated with the histologicgrading increase 1 stair, the the risk of mortality increased by 2.261 times, the risk ofmortality in patients of lymph node metastasis was 3.065 times higher than that inpatients of without lymph node metastasis.Comparded with untreated patients, the therisk of mortality was 0.058 for patients treated by surgey alone,0.053 for patientstreated by surgey and adjuvant therapy. Conclusion: The main therapy for vulvar carcinoma patients is surgey, but must follow theprinciple of individual and comprehensive .histologic grading, lymph node metastasis, therapy are independent prognostic factors.
