Objective:To explore the important factors of abscission of atrial septal defect (ASD) occluder and further analysis of other common complications.Material and Methods:Retrospectively analyze10cases of the shedding of occluder from these ASD patients that underwent transcatheter therapy in our hospital during the period of January2002to December2010.Results:There were successfully tried again to implanted a bigger occluders after the abscission occluders to be drawn out by interventional method in three patients of these10cases. Other remaining7patients underwent surgical repair of ASD after taking occluder out in operation. In the meaningtime, there were underwent percutaneous balloon pulmonary valvuloplasty (PBPV) in two patients who complicated pulmonary vavular stenosis (PS).Conclusion:The diameter measurement of ASD by preoperative and intraoperative UCG and the selection of occluder size play a important roles in interventional therapy of ASD. The edge of the defect was the deciding factor of the success of the interventional occlusion of ASD. Objective:To explore causes and the treatment of the complications after interventional treatment of ventricular septal defect.Materials and Methods:Retrospectively analyzing the clinical data of the patients with ventricular septal defect who had been treated in our department from January2005to May2011. Anlayze the obtained datas using SPSS13.0statistical softwareResults and Conclusion:There are552patients included, success rate was94.4%(521/552cases), residual shunt after interventional treatment in88cases, the residual shunt are related to the size of defect, residual shunt is nothing to do with the membrane aneurysm. Hemolysis after surgery in4cases, severe arrhythmia in5cases, chronic progressive tricuspid regurgitation in1case, femoral artery thrombosis in1case and occluder abscission in1case. Interventional treatment of Ventricular septal defect is a safe and effective, minimally invasive method of treatment, if timely treat these complications, it can seldom lead to serious consequences.
