Hiv/aids Patients Of Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy (haart) Effect And Influence Factors Analysis

Objective:Because the National Free HAART program began so late in China, technique and economy were inadequate, there was very few similar researches. In this study program, we investigated the factors what may affected the effective of viral suppression among ARV-treated HIV-infected patients of first-line regimen and the factors associated with clinical symptoms in Hunan province and guided for the antiretroviral therapyMethods:A cross-sectional study was conducted in Hunan Hengyang, from March to July2009. All the AIDS patients would had a standard interview, and collecte their whole blood. The questionaire contained situations of treatment, will of the medication demographics and the situation of conversation.Laboratory test included CD4T cells testing, viral load testing and HIV genotypical drug resistance indicators. Epi data3.0software was used to creat the database, and spss13.0was used to analyses the data with descriptive statistic,χ2test and logistic analysis. The prevalence and association of clinical symptoms were analyzed using multivariate Logistic regression model and Chi-square testing.Results:This study investigated223people, which accounted about14.65%of the number of ART patients in the same time in Hunan province.There are194people’s virus load below1000copies/mm3, the Virus effective inhibition rate is87.00%, and Incidence of drug resistance is4.48%. There are37people had some kinds of clinical symptoms, accounted for16.59%of the study people. In multivariate logistic regression model, the HAART start time, family fix income, fixed partner, not miss drugs last month, taking antiviral drugs on time Signifieantly associated with viral suppression failure of ART regime.Conclusion:Since the National Free ART Program full began in2003in Hunan pronvince Henyang city, it has got a effective achievement.Most people with antiviral therapy has a low (<1000copies/mm3) virus load, but there are still some patients has a very high virus load and low CD4cells. The determinates factors of low income, no fixed partner, taked antiviral drugs not on time and aways go out for work were found to increase the risk of infection of treatment failure.
