ObjectiveTo study the HAART effective progress of 101 cases of AIDS patients, to evaluate the effect of HAART and immunology, to find problems and explore the measures to improve the efficacy further.MethodTo investigate retrospectively the data of AIDS patients receiving HAART in Changchun from 2005~2009 through the specialized networks of AIDS epidemic, to collect age, sex, weight and other basic data of the subjects to participate in treatment and CD4+, CD8+ T lymphocyte count, clinical biochemical parameters and medication side effects in No. 0, 3, 6, 9, 12, 18, etc. months of treatment, and to make the statistical analysis of these data.ResultsThe average age of 101 cases was 41.45 years before treatment, males accounted for 82.18%, blood transmission of cases accounted for 35.64%, sexual transmission of cases accounted for 60.40%. Before treatment, the average CD4+ T lymphocyte count was 161.43/μl. Users of AZT+3TC+NVP solution were 52, users of d4T+3TC+NVP solution were 39. After HAART, the CD4+ T lymphocyte count and the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ T lymphocyte of subjects increases statistically significant (P<0.05) compared with that before treatment at different treatment time during the first 3 months to 3 years. CD8+ T lymphocyte count did not change significantly (P>0.05). There was no significant change in body weight (P>0.05). The change of immunological parameters was no significant difference (P>0.05) between users of AZT-based first-line treatment solution and users of d4T-based first-line treatment solution. Both AZT-based solution and d4T-based solution can damage the liver, kidneys and hematopoietic system, but the damage between the two different solutions was not significantly different (P> 0.05).The test results of HIV viral load in most patients receiving HAART dropped to the detection limit or less. Conclusion1.After HAART, the CD4+ T lymphocyte count and the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ T lymphocyte of 101 patients increases statistically significant compared with that before treatment. CD8+ T lymphocyte count and body weight did not change significantly.2.The CD4+ and CD8+ T lymphocyte count, the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ T lymphocyte and body weight did not change statistically significant compared with that before treatment between AZT+3TC+NVP solution and d4T+3TC+NVP solution.3.The HAART has some damage on the liver, kidneys and hematopoietic system, but the damage between AZT+3TC+NVP solution and d4T+3TC+NVP solution had no significant difference.4.After HAART, the HIV viral load of AIDS patients significantly decreased, the HIV viral load in most patients dropped to the detection limit or less.
