Objective Evaluate the relationship between Fas/FasL expression and hemangioma atrophy through observing the histological change and Fas/FasL expression in hemangioma tissue before and after copper needle treatment, and reveal the mechanism of copper needle treatment for hemangioma.Methods1.Patients of hemangioma have copper needle treatment indications.2.The copper needle has a diameter of3to4mm and is4to10cm long. Burnish the needle, sharpen one end and hook the other end.3.The patients were under anesthesia in surgery.4All patients were informed of the operation before the treatment, and the operation carried out with patient’s consent.5. Nikon eclipse50i optical microscope was used to observe the histological changes of hemangioma tissue6.Detect the expression of Fas, FasL in hemangioma tissue by immunohistochemistry and analyze the change before and after copper needle treatment.Result1Histopathologic change:after copper needle, hemangioma tissue hardened and the range of hemangioma was reduced. we observe that there were large, the tumors organization function active endothelial cell proliferation, The thickened basement membrane, Blood vessels in part cystic irregular expansion, Vascular cavity were differ。 connective tissue cells is few. The hemangioma cell components less than before, become flat. The lumen narrowed, wall atrophy. Intracavitary appear fibrous tissue.2In endothelial cells of cytoplasm dyed tan particles for positive, not coloring for negative; Each slice observation5at high magnification, the vision (10x40), counts500cells in dyeing positive cell count. The expression of Fas are relatively weak before Copper needle treatment.The expression of Fas is strong positive after Copper needle treatment. FasL weak express Before Copper needle treatment. After treatment FasL express enhanced. A lien of positive of expression is P<0.05With a statistical significance in the copper needle of preoperative and postoperative retained.Conclusion1Copper needle treatment can induce hemangioma atrophy and fibrosi,2Fas/FasL expression is notably different before and after copper needle treatment.
