And Stomach Granule In The Treatment Of Liver Stomach Type With Functional Dyspepsia Clinical Studies

Purpose：ToobservetheclinicalefficacyandsecurityonHeweigranules whichtreat functional dyspepsia of disharmony between liver and stomach,and impacton gastric emptying and regulatory role of motilin(MTL) and somatostatin(SS).Material and method：Base on Western Rome Ⅲ criteria and traditionalChinese medicine symptoms diagnostic criteria,60patients who received treat-ment in the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional ChineseMedicine out-patient and ward during July2011to February2012were met theinclusion criteria. The60cases of functional dyspepsia(according to the RomeⅢ criteria) and disharmony between liver and stomach syndrome (with referenceto traditional Chinese medicine drug clinical guidelines) were randomly dividedinto two groups,28cases in the treatment group and32cases in the controlgroup.The treatment group received Hewei granules with a bag one time and threetimes a day,orally for four weeks; the control group received Domperidone tabletswith10mg one time and three times a day,orally for four weeks.Scoring on clinicalsymptoms before and after treatment,calculating gastric emptying rate with X-rayto detecte gastrointestinal motility and compare contents of motilin(MTL) andsomatostatin(SS) before and after treatment,and evaluating the clinical effi-cacy of Hewei granules.Finally,aggregate the data and select the appropriatestatistical methods for statistical analysis with DPS7.05software and arriveat a conclusion.Results：Symptomscoresbetweenthetwogroupsshowednosignificantdifferencebefore treatment (P>0.05).Symptom scores between the two groups were associatedwith a significant difference in the pre-treatment(P<0.05).The symptoms ofepigastric pain and nausea in the treatment group were better than the controlgroup(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference on other symptoms comparedwith the control group(P>0.05).There were6cured cases,12obvious cases,8 effective cases and2invalid cases in the treatment group,the effective ratewas92.8%; there were3cured cases,10obvious cases,12effective cases and7invalid cases in the control group,the effective rate was78.1%.Clinical curerate,marked improvement rate and effective rate of the treatment group werehigher than the control group.Through statistical analysis,the difference oneffective rate between the two group was significant(P<0.05). There were nosignificant differences between the two groups on gastric emptying rate beforetreatment(P>0.05),the two groups were comparable.After treatment, gastricemptying rates of the two group improved significantly than before (P<0.01),thedifference was statistically significant.After treatment,differences on ga-stric emptying rate of the two groups were not significant(P>0.05),the gastricemptying efficacies of the two group were equivalence. Before treatment,therewas no significant difference between the two groups on the concentration ofplasma motilin (P>0.05),the two groups were comparable.After treatment,theconcentration of plasma motilin of the two groups improved significantly thanbefore treatment(P<0.01). And efficacy of Hewei granules are better than Do-mperidone on improving concentrations of plasma motilin(P<0.01).There was nosignificant difference on concentrations of serum somatostatin in the two groupsbefore treatment (P>0.05), the two groups were comparable.After treatmen-t,concentrations of serum somatostatin in the two group reduced significantlythan before treatment(P<0.01).And efficacy of Hewei granules is better thanDomperidone on reducing concentrations of serum somatostatin（P<0.01).Conclusion：Hewei granule is an effective prescription which can treatfunctional dyspepsia of disharmony between liver and stomach.It has the effectof soothing liver and invigorating spleen and regulating qi-flowing for harm-onizing stomach,can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients withfunctional dyspepsia of disharmony between liver and stomach,reduce concen-trations of serum somatostatin, improve concentrations of plasma motilin,andenhance motility and promote gastric emptying. Hewei granule is safe and eff- ective in clinical application,there is no adverse reactions.
